COVID-19 Policies

Sometimes being small and remote can be useful. Allow us to offer some respite where you can practice your social distancing in a luxurious, natural, and secluded environment with housekeeping standards pretty much unmatched in the industry.

Because of our substantial COVID-19 prevention protocols listed below, Beaver Lakefront Cabins will remain open unless required to close by a government agency. If we must close, reservations made during any closure will be refunded in full.

Cabins & Suites

We offer two rate types: Cancel Up To 72 Hours Prior to Arrival and a less expensive Non-refundable rate.

72-Hour CancellationWe collect a non-refundable 10% booking fee of the total room cost to confirm the reservation the day it is made. Reservations may be cancelled with no further obligation until 3 PM CST three (3) days prior to your arrival date.

Three days prior to your arrival, the remaining balance plus any additional services and taxes will be automatically charged to the card on file at which point the reservation is non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.

Non-Refundable Rate. All room sales are non-refundable and cannot be postponed. We charge the full reservation to your card when you book.

Keeping Healthy for You

  • For everyone's safety, we use contactless check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Beaver Lakefront Cabins employees are eligible for Paid Time Off for COVID-related isolation and have no economic incentive to come to work sick and are not permitted to come to work sick.
  • Occupancy limits have been established in rear office work areas and work flow patterns have been adjusted so that employees do not work within 6 feet of each other.
  • All employees wear face masks while performing any indoor activity. Common area HVAC systems have been upgraded with Ultraviolet-C sanitation lights in the duct work.
  • All employees have reviewed and signed off on the instructions for hand washing and sanitizing provided by the CDC.All employees have implemented hand washing or sanitizing procedures to take place multiple times during an employee's shift when switching from one task to another.

Enhanced Housekeeping Procedures

Between each guest's stay —

  • All Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems have been retrofitted with 24-hour, in-duct Ultraviolet-C sanitation lights to reduce and sterilize airborne COVID particles.
  • All non-porous surfaces like door knobs, light switches, tables, chairs, counter tops, bathroom fixtures, showers, and floors are disinfected.
  • Phones, remote controls, and iPads are disinfected with Ultraviolet-C light.
  • All bedding, towels, washrags, bathmats, etc. are washed with bleach water and dried at high temperatures.
  • Pillow protectors, the sealed, second layer of pillowcases below the regular pillowcases, are individually disinfected with Ultraviolet-C lamps after each stay.
  • All kitchen flatware and utensils are disinfected, rinsed, and sealed in plastic.
  • Movies borrowed from the library are disinfected before being returned to the library.
  • Employees must wash their hands between each unit. Occasional use items are disinfected and sealed in plastic bags so you'll know for sure.

Public Spaces

  • Hand sanitizer is located throughout public and back-of-house locations.
  • Public touch points, such as handrails, door handles and knobs are cleaned multiple times throughout the day.
