Our quiet, remote location is an advantage while you are here, but it also makes it difficult for us to re-book rooms on short notice. Our policies are based on the timing of your decisions, so please read the details below as they could be important to you.
Cancellations, Refunds & Rescheduling
Up to 21 days prior to arrival, you may cancel or reschedule. For cancellations, your deposit will be refunded by check less a $45.00 cancellation fee.
Within 21 days of arrival, all room sales are non-refundable. You may reschedule to an earlier arrival date or postpone to a later date if you purchase the Ability to Postpone Option described below. There are no refunds for early departure.
Ability to Postpone Option
For those whose plans may change or are concerned about winter weather, we offer the Ability to Postpone Option for an additional, non-refundable 10% of the room cost. This allows you to postpone your arrival once, for any reason, as long as you notify us by phone before 12 PM on the arrival date. You may purchase this Option when making the reservation or up until 21 days before your arrival.
We refund massages, private dining, boat rentals, flowers, and ministerial services if cancelled 48 hours before the appointment time.
Details and the Fine Print
To cancel or reschedule, you must contact us by phone during normal business hours and receive a cancellation number. If you cancel or reschedule by e-mail, do not assume we received your e-mail unless you receive an e-mail back from us. We are not responsible for delays in cancellations or rescheduling caused by e-mail problems and e-mails received after hours are considered received on the next business day.
If you use the Ability to Postpone Option, you will have to pay the 10% fee a second time if you want the Option to apply to the new arrival date. If you do not know your new arrival date, we place your deposit on file until you can make that decision. You may only purchase this Option twice per reservation.
All rescheduling is subject to availability and potential price adjustments for the day of the week, seasonal rates and special events; there are no refunds for rescheduling to a period with lower rates, however you may use any difference to purchase additional nights or items from our gift shop.
Massages, private dining, flowers, and ministerial services are not included in the Ability to Postpone Option since third party vendors provide these services. You must cancel 48 hours in advance to receive a refund or reschedule.
We issue refunds by check to the name on the card or checking account paying for the reservation. All deposits placed on file will be forfeited if not used within two years.
Schedule of Payments
We require full payment for all reservations made within 21 days of arrival. More than 21 days in advance, we collect 50% of the total stay to confirm the reservation and automatically charge the remaining 50% on the 21st day before your arrival.
