Chartered Beaver Lake Sailing

 

Captain Andy Falls is a licensed Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels with a sailing endorsement.  Andy's passion for sailing began when sailing with the Outdoor Club of the McCallie Prep School.  After graduating from Rhodes College he began sailing a Hobie 16 on Greers Ferry Lake. A member of Offshore Passage Opportunities, he has sailed offshore from Newport to Annapolis and raced aboard a 53 foot sailboat in the BVI Sailing Festival.  His favorite sail to date was a bareboat cruise through the BVIs with his wife and their children.

Defiance is a Hunter 340 sloop-rigged sailboat and can carry up to six passengers in comfort.  Avid sailors will appreciate her good performance characteristics and networked sailing instruments.   Those seeking comfort will appreciate her spacious and well-shaded cockpit.

There is room on the foredeck for lounging or sunbathing and an aft swim ladder.   For entertainment there is a radio and CD player.   We carry US Coast Guard approved safety equipment to ensure that you have a safe, enjoyable sailing experience.
